BRAZIL NEW RULES FOR THE ENTRY OF PERSONS

On 21st of January 2022, the Brazilian Government published at Official gazette the ordinance 666, removing the restriction for foreign passengers on flights from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Flights from these countries are not allowed since last November.

The ordinance was established for exceptional and temporary restrictions, measures, and requirements for entry into the country, due to the risks of contamination and spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (covid-19) and variants of concern.

The authorization for entry into the country for international travellers, Brazilian or foreigners, are issued under the terms of this ordinance.

  4. People in a situation of vulnerability resulting from a migratory flow caused by a humanitarian crisis during emergency assistance measures in Brazilian territory.
  5. Brazilians and foreigners residing in Brazilian territory who are not fully vaccinated.
